Nampa Engagement Photographer: Still Water Hollow

I shot a winter engagement session at this beautiful location - Still Water Hollow in Nampa, ID.  They had a little old church that when you walked in the doors even had that old, rustic, comforting smell.  One of those smells that just brings back a flood of memories.  The rest of the location had a bunch of different little "cabins" and a barn with large open doors and a saloon.  It was amazing.  Here are just a couple of previews of such a great location.

I had a blast with this family.  Dad had me cracking up the whole time, and they were all so lively!  There was not a dull moment and it was so much fun.  I loved the colors they chose too!  Thanks for lots of laughs!

Catch up! Boise Child Photographer

I am playing catch up! I have neglected my blog lately, so I am going to try to play catch up, in no particular order. I have also neglected taking pictures of my kids and my everyday life. So, the next few posts will be, yes, about my family. Skip through these if you would like, but these precious beauties are what revived my desire to do photography. Love them!

 This is our Ma.  My little model no matter where she is.  I am not a fan of the snow, but I love it in this picture of her!

And our Ma again.  Never thought I would let my child go to the store or bank dressed in costume, but she is a princess no matter the day.

Logan's Senior pics; Meridian Senior Photographer

I had the opportunity to meet Logan and his mom because of a referral from a friend.  He is such a nice guy, very respectful and it was so fun to see him interacting with his mom.  I wish I would have gotten a pic of the two of them together!  Logan made it so easy to take pics of him.  He had the poses and the looks down!  Thanks again Logan and Diana!  Here's a few from our shoot:

 

 

Eagle Senior/Portrait Photographer; The H. Girls

I had so much fun with these girls on our shoot.  We went to downtown Eagle and by the riverwalk.  I had "one of those" types of shoots where everything was just working right, and the models were great.  I am so happy with their photos, and hope they are too!  Here's a few to peek at! Boise Engagement/Couple Photographer: K & D engagements

This is a good friend of mine.  She is a great walking buddy and so fun to talk to and be around.  I was so happy she asked me to take her engagement pictures!  Her fiance is just as fun to be around as well and they had me cracking up the whole session.  I had to compose myself so that I wouldn't shake the camera half the time.  Love her, and so happy she met D.  In the airport of all places!  Congrats and I am so happy for you two!

It was a cold day shortly before Christmas, but we still got some fun shots of this family.  Here's a couple: the first one is one of my favorites with the warm golden sun in the background.  Wish is was actually warm outside though!

Boise Child Photographer: Self Portrait #2

I decided I am going to try to take more self portraits and I posted one here last month. Here's #2. This is my self portrait as a Mom. Some days the kids and I look like this picture. Other days are happy and we have dance parties and wrestle and laugh. I would rather remember those days than the first, but there has to be bad to enjoy the good, right? Well, I am going to try to laugh more this year and this was one of those moments I just had to laugh at how upset my 1 year old was that I would not pick her up for the 1,000th time this day. Love my kids. They are my life and eat up my sanity daily but provide me with so much joy, love and kisses.

I was able to take pictures of my Sister in Law's family around Thanksgiving at a cool Train station in Ogden, UT.  I know, it is a little late!  My nephew sure tested me by having me climb up a big train after him to get a few shots (I am not one for heights!), but so glad I did because it was a cool view.  It was fun to get some pics of their cute kids and family all together.  Thanks guys!

I was so happy to be able to take pictures for this family.  The Mom is my daughter's preschool teacher and the Dad is our Bishop at church and I taught their oldest daughter in one of my classes at church.  They are a really great family!
